輕松學英語：跟著“帕丁頓熊”學高逼格英倫腔

　　繼“大白”之后，這位戴著小紅帽的小笨熊不知道又萌化了多少人滴心。而且唐頓莊園的老爺穿越到這里扮演風險分析師，總覺得畫面有些怪哦。不過Nicole扮演的大反派簡直美呆了是不是！好吧，我們冷靜一下，來學英語。因為這是一部英國電影，所以喜歡英式表達和性感英倫腔的孩子們，福氣來了！

　　看過電影的孩子，就算是什么都沒記住，也能記住這個詞兒---marmalade!

　　它到底是個啥？我們來看英文解釋：jam or jelly made from oranges, lemons, etc, eaten especially for breakfast. 嗯，可以翻譯成果醬。就是電影里那坨黏黏的東西。

　　That’s the spirit!

　　這個表達經常用在對方打起精神，重新振作起來之后。意思是：That’s the right attitude! 可以翻譯成“這么想/做就對了嘛”之類的。

　　suit somebody down to the ground

　　這是句很英式的表達，表示to be very convenient or acceptable for somebody。如果想說“這工作很適合我”，就可以說This job suits me down to the ground.

　　大家可以發現，成天被我們當成名詞用的house這里變成了動詞是不是！它的意思是to provide a place for somebody to live. 例如：The government is committed to housing the refugees. 還有好多名詞也可以作為動詞用啊，比如friend，在社交網絡里，它表示“加某人為好友”，那前面加個否定前綴，defriend或者unfriend，就變成了刪除好友，超級形象是不是！

　　這個表達在生活中很常用的“不要抱太大希望哦，否則會失望的哦！”可以用這里面的Don’t get your hopes up. 也可以說Don’t raise your hopes too high, or you may be disappointed.

　　freshen up = freshen yourself up

　　To wash and make yourself look clean and tidy. 其實不一定非得洗澡或者洗臉啥的，也有可能就是去個洗手間整理下衣著發型之類的。

　　倫敦的雨應該是世界出名的吧… 這里用了好幾種下雨的方式：rain 不解釋；pour = rain heavily;drizzle = rain slightly;It’s chucking it down。是典型的英式說法，表示It’s raining heavily.

　　Don’t take this the wrong way.

　　這個是英美通用的哦！在你覺得你下面要說的話，可能會讓對方誤會或者有什么不好的感覺，就可以把這句話說在前面。意思是“你不要想太多啊，你不要誤會我啊，我說這話沒別的意思啊”之類的。

　　Let’s get cracking.

　　這個跟Let’s get going。意思差不多，都是指to begin immediately and work quickly. 比如：

　　There’s a lot to be done, so let’s get cracking.

　　I’m on my way.

　　這個其實大家都會，我只是單純的迷戀妮可，你懂的。

　　大家看到后面，一定還對另一個詞有印象，就是stuff。用英文來解釋一下應該更準確，就是to fill the dead body of an animal with material and preserve it, so that it keeps its original shape and appearance. 不過大家要注意哦，stuffed animal還有另外的一個意思，就是“毛絨玩具”，在英國，一般叫做soft toy.
