美國防長譴責俄羅斯：空襲目標沒有IS

　　美國國防部長卡特30號召開記者會，譴責俄羅斯在敘利亞發動的空襲并非針對伊斯蘭國組織，又指俄羅斯支持敘利亞政權、而非敘利亞的政治過渡，這種做法是在火上澆油。

　　俄羅斯從30號開始對敘利亞發動空襲，盡管俄羅斯方面表示在敘利亞境內的軍事行動是針對伊斯蘭國組織，但美國國防部長卡特當天召開記者會表示，俄羅斯空襲的區域并沒有伊斯蘭國組織的存在。

　　美國國防部長卡特：我們一直在觀察俄羅斯的行動，我現在不想透露太多細節。但是俄羅斯的立場自相矛盾的理由之一是，伊斯蘭國組織不在襲擊區域。其他（組織）在那里，這是為什么空襲行動的結果之一將是不可避免加劇敘利亞內戰。

　　We have been observing Russian activities, and I don't want to go into detail about that at this time. But, the reason, one of the reasons why the Russian position is contradictory, but that exactly the potential for them to strike as they may well have in places where in fact ISIL is not present. Others are present and this is one of the reasons why the result of this kind of action is, will inevitably simply be to inflame civil war in Syria.

　　據悉俄羅斯在空襲行動前一個小時派一名官員前往美國駐巴格達大使館進行通報?？ㄌ刈l責俄羅斯這樣的行為完全不符合軍方的專業要求。下一步美國與俄羅斯軍方將會就如何在敘利亞避免空中意外進行磋商，會談可能就在未來幾天內進行。

　　多位美國國會議員在對俄羅斯總統普京發出譴責的同時，也批評奧巴馬在敘利亞缺乏長期戰略才導致了俄羅斯的強勢介入。

　　美國國會共和黨參議員麥凱恩：這屆政府讓我們的朋友困惑，鼓勵我們的敵人，錯誤的把小心謹慎作為借口，以不作為取代行動的風險。

　　This administration has confused our friends, encouraged our enemies, mistaken an excess of caution for prudence, and replaced the risks of action with the perils of inaction.

　　奧巴馬與普京兩天前才在聯合國會晤，普京表示俄羅斯與美國在打擊伊斯蘭國組織上的目標一致。分析指出，俄羅斯對敘利亞的空襲進一步加深了美國對其軍事行動意圖的懷疑。
